Kolkata is the old capital of British India .The city is situated in West Bengal in the bank of river Hooghly. Babughat is a Ghat of Ganga. It is one of the famous ghat for ferry services It is considered to be a good religious practice to take a bath in the Ganga everyday.
Kolkata is famous for it’s cheap and good food. The in-numerous number of street vendor starts their work early in the morning .
Every Picture Story of the City will be incomplete without this place. Princep Ghat is one of the most famous destination for the tourists.
The age old hand pulled rickshaw is still used in the city.
The famous yellow Ambassador cab moving just outside Eden Gardens,the international stadium of Kolkata.
Kolkata is the only place India where tram service is still in place.
Collage street is the second hand book market in Kolkata, where books sells like vegetables just in the street. It is the largest book market of Asia
